Warriors fans, this is our year!!!
Hey guys, I just created my blog and I am really excited to start blogging. I am a huge Golden State Warriors fan and I will always be one. I am starting this blog because I love the Warriors and I want to share my love for them with all you readers and even convert you over to even being a Warriors fan. Event though they aren’t THAT great as we said in the playoffs the year they upset the Mavericks “WE BELIEVE!” I live in the Bay Area so I get to see alot of their games and I have met all of the current players. I have been a fan of them for my whole life. I am a huge athelete I play basketball and baseball right now at my highschool and I am just starting my basketball season and I have my first preseason game today. I believe that Warriors have a chance for a playoff birth this year with Monta Ellis back and leading the team and now that we have Stephen Curry along with Anthony Morrow and Anthony Randolph with more experience our team looks solid. Now that they have traded Stephen Jackson away I think that the Warriors are more of a team without him jacking up 3-pointers when they are not needed and being ejected from multiple games a season. For this year I plan to go to a couple of Warriors game, I wish I had season tickets, and cheer them on for their very strong future with all of the young talent that they have. I think that the main player the Warriors need right now because they have way to many guards is a dominate center. Turiaf, and Biedrens have not been getting it done and Anthony Randolph is still so young and needs much more discipline and experience. Also another thing that I think the Warriors are missing are a good coach. Don Nelson is such an unpredictable coach and even though he is very close to the all time coach with the most wins he plays his players on whether he likes them or not rather based on their skill. The Warriors need to get rid of their coach if they expect to make the playoffs. Now that Kellenna Azubuike is out for the season with his knee injury the other younger guards must step up if they expect to do well in the Western Conference which is loaded with tough teams. Even though they are one of the youngest teams in the NBA the Warriors have a chance to make the playoffs. Monta Ellis has shown his great leadership ever since Stephen Jackson left and what Monta Ellis said at the beginning of the season about not being able to play along side Stephen Curry appears not to be true because they are acting as a great team currently. I am very excited for this season and to watch the Warriors try to step up their game and try to accomplish their goal this year: making the 2010 NBA Playoffs.
